Montreal Alumni Chapter (MAC)

The Montreal Alumni Chapter is growing and holds regular events. Most importantly, the MAC hosts an Annual Alumni Wine and Cheese at the Chapter House, held during McGill Homecoming weekend. These have been very well attended, and are an excellent way for Brothers old and new to forge or rekindle life-long bonds of Brotherhood.

Now in its fourth year, the 4th Annual Alumni Wine and Cheese will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026. Tickets can be purchased on the website (Donate page). Look for more information in upcoming newsletters, sent to your email from brothers@gammalambda.ca.

In addition, the MAC holds regular pub nights in both Montreal and Toronto. The Montreal setting is Hurley’s Irish Pub on Crescent St. Pub nights are from 5pm-7pm on the last Thursday of the month. The Toronto pub nights are held every second month at The Pilot Pub on Cumberland at Bay and are held on alternating Wednesdays or Thursdays, from 6pm-9pm. Details of each Pilot pub night are found in the monthly newsletter. https://share.google/CLIf7loFY0lTXk8Jq

MAC Annual Dues

Spruce-Up Weekends

The Spruce Up Weekends are yearly events, where Alumni and Actives spend time expending a little bit of elbow grease to tackle some Chapter House tasks. Rooms are painted, minor repairs are made and a complete inspection of the Chapter House is made by GLFI to identify potential problems and create a “to-do” list for the immediate future. There is a lot of Brotherly mingling and fun over the weekend, with a well-earned beer and a BBQ on Saturday evenings.

The 2026 Spruce Up Weekend is planned for late August, so look for more details in upcoming newsletters. In the meantime, if you have any questions send an email to brothers@gammalambda.ca.
